Inspiration can come from anything or anyone, role models (Richard Lugar - below), or famous quotes.
One quote that defines my inspiration to seek achievement for personal goals is as follows.

Have you ever felt inspired by someone close to you? Perhaps, your 2nd grade instructor or a close family member. Well, I know I have because starting in my 2nd grade I was closely nurtured to achieve anything I set my mind towards. At that specific time, it was learning all about U.S. history and competing in my elementary school's math competition. Fast forward to the 8th grade, I was contemplating whether or not to apply for high school student government and thought about how much I wanted the school lunch system to change across all public schools in my hometown. In the end, I was able to positively influence my school's lunch system by introducing healthier foods at an affordable price into the daily menus. This would not have been possible without my belief that everyone deserves better than what is currently available and so I embarked on a journey to achieve one of my personal goals while being a high school student.
Now, think about who inspires you? Is it your parents, a current instructor, or your best friend on-campus? What makes you want to emulate them or participate in actions that pleases not just you, but also others? Have you ever set a personal goal and not achieved it? Well, you should find your inspirational individual and select a quote that motivates you to make a positive change in the lives of those around you. Try it out and you will not be disappointed because I believe an individual's motivation drives them to achieve their dreams.
