So, after the fun-filled and eventful Little 500 week, students at IU experience each semester what we call "dead week." Dead week is supposed to get its name from the students' chance to relax a little bit, not receive homework or projects, and to focus on charging up and gearing up for the heinous intimidating finals week. However, dead week is not dead. That phrase must have been effective another time because even as a freshman, I have not experienced such break. Dead week is full of last minute grade pull-ups and alterations and loose assignments. After dead week, students are all put on the line for recalling a semester's worth of material. This is similar to high school, except the weight of the final exam grade on your course grade is large. I will talk more about coping in my video. Here are some student tweets!
