Hey Hoosiers!
Do you want to be a part of something brand new? The Marketing Technology Club at IU is looking for interested members who want to make an impact on the community through digital marketing training, events, and more!
Getting involved at Indiana University is not only a great way to bolster your resume, but also an amazing way to meet new people and network with professionals and peers.
Established in November 2014, MTCIU is one of Indiana University's newest student organizations. Our goal is to provide students, faculty, local businesses, nonprofits and the Bloomington community with the tools to utilize technology to market to their audiences. MTCIU was created after several students and their adviser acknowledged that there was an incredible opportunity to challenge common perceptions about marketing. As technology-driven students eager to learn more, we set out on a mission to develop a student organization that could serve as the go-to, pro bono agency to aid students, faculty and the community with their technological and marketing inquiries. Our members come from various discourses, including marketing, journalism, informatics and business. However, we are all passionate about the utilization of technology and its impact on marketing. The approach to marketing is changing rapidly and we want to share what we know with fellow students and our community.
Now is the perfect time to join the Marketing Technology Club at IU--our first event is fast approaching and anyone can attend! Come join us in Hodge Hall 421 on March 25th at 6:00pm for 'Popcorn and Portfolios.' Come eat popcorn and learn portfolio techniques with us and our featured professor.
